Introducing Our New Name!

I am so excited to finally be sharing this news! Camilla B Creative Studio is getting a wee update.

When I originally created my business, it was all about photography. As many photographers do, I named my business my own name. But now, 2 and a half years later, my team has grown, and my service offerings have expanded. So, it is no longer just me (Camilla B), I have decided to change my company name to better represent what my business has become. I also believe this new name will better accommodate our future growth as a visual marketing agency.

Now, as many of you fellow business owners know, choosing a business name is so difficult. I spent months thinking of different names, words and word combos. I got to the point where I felt like every time I heard a pretty word I was thinking "Oh! That would make a nice business name!". I wanted to choose a name that represented what I do in a less than obvious way. I wanted it to sound more visual and artistic than a standard marketing agency, as my business has a strong focus on the visual side of marketing. It had to be easy to spell, easy to pronounce, a word with little to no negative connotations, and of course, look pretty typed out. I came home every night with about 10 new ideas to ramble off to anyone who'd listen until I narrowed it down. So, after probably an entire notebook worth of brainstorming, and a very supportive, but likely exhausted boyfriend (he is happy I finally chose one)...I am SO EXCITED to announce my new name:

When I decided to change my name, I knew I wanted to give my entire brand some love. My website has been completely updated, and it feels so good. You can now view all of my marketing services, and browse through a more up-to-date photography portfolio. The thing I am most excited about is my new Team page. I have hired 2 lovely, talented ladies in the past few months, and I can't wait to introduce them.

I love every part of what I do, and it makes me so darn happy to know that by doing what I love, I can help small businesses grow and thrive. I appreciate every single one of you who have liked my photos over the years, shared one of my posts, told a friend about my services, or just reached out to say hello, it means so much. Thanks to my fam, my friends and everyone who's given me advice, sat with me and shared ideas, just hanging out and having a coffee, etc. I love you guys all so much! And thank you to my valued clients, who have entrusted me with the responsibility of creating their visual anthology! It is because of all of this amazing support and community that I am at this exciting point today.

You're awesome for following along on this journey. I plan to share more tips, useful info and valuable resources ongoing, so keep a lookout on my social media channels. See you all soon!
